Innkeepers Barry and Sandy Miller
A brief history of Terra Nova House and its owners
Barry and Sandy Miller bought Terra Nova house in March of 2004. After making many improvements to the 1901 Victorian house they received their first three diamond rating from the Automobile Association of America. They have maintained a three diamond rating through 2007 on a recent inspection, making Terra Nova House the place to stay in Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

Barry was born and raised in Easton Pennsylvania and served in the United States Navy from 1965-1969. After serving a tour in Vietnam in 1968, he returned to college and received a degree in health care from the University of Kentucky. Barry then completed a twenty year career in health care administration before he changed careers to become a financial planner, now business owner.
Sandy was also born and raised in Easton Pennsylvania and graduated from West Chester University with a degree in elementary education. She taught in Christian school for many years before changing careers. When both of their second careers ended Barry and Sandy began their search for their first bed and breakfast.
Barry and Sandy share four sons between them, two each, and learned early in their marriage that boys eat a lot. This honed their culinary skills which prepared them well for their role as innkeepers at Terra Nova House.
They also have two girls in their lives; Molly, their loveable Golden Retriever who will always want to give you her favorite toy; and Jada, a precocious Silver Back Persian cat, who will tug at your heart strings with a simple look. Jada prefers to mind her own business while Molly is always looking for attention anywhere she can find it. But sometimes they set aside their differences and just relax.
